Chapter 19: Slow dance.

"I care about you. Dana. I don't want to hurt you. You are beautiful and sweet, but I know I'm damaged." He cleared his throat again.

"I am flattered by your attraction for me. Maybe we shouldn't take this further."

Shane woke up and watched Dana sleeping. He was tempted to touch her face but didn't want to wake her. He rolled onto his right side and moved slowly to the edge of the bed to get off it.

As he sat up to rise to his feet, she stirred and opened her eyes. She smiled and stretched out her hand to touch his back. He turned around, leaned forward and kissed her hand while it rested on the bed.

"Morning baby," he said with a smile. Dana smiled at him, her eyes inviting. He crawled to her and kissed her slowly. When he leaned back her eyes were closed. He touched her face. "Gonna take a shower, okay?

"Okay," she replied with a whisper.

He stood up and took off his shirt. Dana watched with half open eyes as he took out a grey t-shirt and a more fitted black jeans from his duffle bag.

He opened the door to the right and a minute later Dana heard the shower running. She sat up and stretched. She was tempted to see him, to open the shower door and sneak up on him. She bit her bottom lip imagining what his body looked like. She yawned softly. She wrapped her arms around her torso and smiled.

She wondered what they would do today. She figured more touching, more kissing, more looks of longing.  Would they make love? She was yearning for his touch, but also desired that they take it slow.

After five minutes he was out, his skin damp, a fluffy white towel wrapped around his hips. She looked up at him. She felt her loins stir as she saw his strong, well muscled body. He looked at her and came towards her. He sat on the edge of the bed and blew a sloppy kiss at her. She giggled and winked at him.

"Come here," he whispered seductively.

She giggled and scooted closer. Gently, he rested his hand on her thigh. "What do you wanna do today? There's a tennis court, or we can play pool" He touched her face. "We can also go to the swimming pool and cool off, or we can stay in and do other things."

Dana chuckled softly then said, "I think it's best we do outdoor stuff."

He nodded. "Okay, no problem," he said. She moved to the edge of the bed and stood up. She looked back at him. He was checking out her perky butt. She laughed. He slapped her bottom and pulled her onto his lap and circled his arms around her. "You feel so good," he said. He bent his head and kissed her neck. "Indoor activities might be more fun," he whispered.

"I know but it's best we break a sweat in another way," she said.

"Hmm ... sweet baby," he growled tenderly. He pulled on the neckline of her t-shirt to expose soft flesh and lovingly kissed her neck and shoulder. He squeezed her a little harder as he did this. Dana felt ripples of pleasure flow through her. She moaned  softly. He reached up and cupped her breasts and gently squeezed. They were soft but firm. He tenderly massaged them, noting their weight and fullness. She was nicely endowed. He longed to see them.

Dana's head went back and a sharp breath escaped her lips. His touch was gentle but firm at the same time. In her head, she was not far away from giving in to him.

"What do you feel like doing?" he asked, his voice gruff.

"Maybe going to the pool," she said. She closed her eyes as he continued to caress her bosom. She could also feel his member harden as she sat on him. She was tempted to grind on him, but tried her best to restrain herself. The towel was still wrapped around his waist but if she moved on him he would be exposed. She was curious about how that particular body part looked.

"Done," he replied. "Sounds like a plan."

He let her go and she stood up. She wanted to sit on him longer but decided it would be wiser to leave.

She went to the door and looked back at him. He winked at her. "Want more cuddles?" he asked teasing her. He opened his arms to her.

She looked at the muscles of his arms flexing and bit her bottom lip. She cleared her throat and said, "As much as I would like to take you up on that offer, I think it's best I leave that till later. What time is breakfast here?"

He looked at his watch. "9:00 o'clock. It's 7:30 now. You can spend a little more time here with me. Tell you what, go take a shower and come back to my room. I promise I will behave myself." He looked at her sincerely his eyebrows furrowed. "I promise," he said.

She nodded. "Okay. But what will we do?" she asked.

"Trust me," he said smiling. Her heart skipped a beat. She nodded, feeling a little dazed.

"Later?" he asked quietly. His voice caressed her senses.

"Later," she answered. She felt warm all over.

He stood up and walked her to the door, holding the knot of the towel with his right hand. The towel was getting loose. Dana couldn't help it. She looked but saw nothing. Shane noticed her wandering gaze. With an amused smile on his face, he kissed her brow then closed the door behind her. She stood staring at the closed door, knowing at that time he would be pulling the towel off his body and getting dressed.

She leaned on the wooden frame and sighed. He must look really good, she mused. Smiling ruefully to herself, she walked to her room next door. She took out the access card from her shorts pocket and flashed the card over the sensor. The door flew ajar. She pulled it towards her, stepped into the room and closed the door behind her.

As she entered her room she heard her cellphone ringing. She ran to open the small zipper compartment at the side of her duffle bag. She rushed to retrieve the phone and saw that it was her best friend calling. She answered. "Hey Chelz, what's up?" she greeted her.

Her friend chuckled. "You should tell me," her friend Chelsea responded cheekily. "You're the one off somewhere secluded with the man of your dreams."

Dana laughed lightheartedly. "Did I say that? That he was the man of my dreams?" she asked amused.

"Yes girl, you did," Chelsea answered. "So what happened? Share the deets, a girl is anxious to know."

Dana lay on her bed. "Well, we kissed ..."

"And?"

"Well ..."

"Girl you're killing me!" Chelsea shrieked with a little laugh.

Dana laughed. "We had dinner and then we walked to our rooms. We share joined rooms, we kissed and ..."

"And?" Chelsea interrupted.

"He massaged and kissed my feet," Dana said chuckling.

Chelsea screamed. "What?! Details!"

"He kind of sucked on my toes," Dana told her. "I have to admit it felt really good. I almost begged him to make love to me."

"You almost begged?" Chelsea's tone changed. "So y'all didn't have sex?" You guys did nothing but the sucking toes part?"

Dana sobered up. She sighed. "No, I wanted to, but you know my rule."

"I see," Chelsea said feeling disappointed. "So was he disappointed about it?" she asked.

"No, he wasn't really, he wants to wait too. He's a Christian," Dana revealed.

"Is that so?" Chelsea asked sarcastically. "Him taking you to the villa I was certain you guys would have you know ..."

Dana smiled. "Yeah, to be honest I wanted to. If he applied more pressure I would have given in. Chelz, this guy is really sexy."

"But you say you're both trying to wait?" her friend asked.

"Mhm," Dana replied. "Plus, he has unresolved issues."

"Such as?"

"He has an ex who is currently pregnant for him. They just broke up probably a couple days ago or at least she told him she no longer wanted to be with him," she replied.

"Oh," Chelsea said. There was a noticeable pause.

"Chelz, you there?" Dana asked.

"Yeh man, I'm here," Chelsea answered. "Hun, I don't want to rain on your parade but considering this break up with his ex is fresh, do you think it's a good idea to pursue a relationship with him right now?"

"What do you mean?" Dana asked turning onto her side.

"Just a few days ago? Babe, he's still in love with her. Did he break up with her or did she dump him?"

"She broke up with him," Dana revealed.

"Yeah, he still has feelings for her," Chelz asserted.

"I'm aware of that, he even told me that he loves her in a way, but he wants to explore being with me," Dana replied.

"And you're sure you're not just a rebound, someone to just help him get over the heartbreak?" Chelsea asked. "Look hun I ain't saying he isn't attracted to you, and I won't say he may not care for you to an extent, but he may or may not be aware that he's using you as a band aid --an ego boost if you will."

Those last words stung a little. Chelsea was her longest and dearest friend --her best friend. She trusted her with everything. Dana sighed. "Do you think so?" she asked.

"I'm not saying people can't move on, but they don't move on that quickly," Chelsea asserted. "Don't be a second option or a space filler hun, you deserve so much better."

"I know he cares for me. We have been work colleagues for so long. I trust him," Dana replied.

"And in that time has he ever made a move on you or shown you any interest before you told him how you felt?" Chelz asked.

She shook her head though her friend couldn't see her. "No," she replied. She was feeling a little confused.

"Hun, are you sure he's not using you?"

"I ... uh. I don't know," she answered, but her heart was screaming, No Shane wouldn't do that to me!

Her mind however wouldn't let it rest... Are you sure?

She sighed. "Chelz, I'll talk later, I need to go bathe," she said.

"Okay hun. I'm really sorry, but I have to keep it real with you." Chelsea responded.

"I know," Dana replied.

"Okay hun later," her friend said.

"Yeah," Dana said then hung up. She put the phone back in her bag and went to shower, but her heart was heavy.

***

At 8:35 a.m., Dana knocked on Shane's room door. She heard movement inside then the door opened. Her eyes hungrily stared at him. He looked sexy in the shirt that was like a 'muscle shirt' and black fitted jeans that showed off his sculpted, muscular thighs. She gazed at his bulging arm muscles. She wanted to touch him.

He stepped back from the door and pulled it wider for her so she could enter. She walked through the foyer into the bedroom and noticed that the bed was made up and there was a pack of cards on it.

"I thought we'd play a few rounds of cards, whatever game you want," he said smiling at her.

Her stomach did a crazy flip. She sighed. That sexy smile, ughh!

He came towards her. "Are you okay?" he asked. He reached out and held both of her hands in his and clasped them.

Dana's bottom lip trembled a little as she looked into his eyes. This man, this handsome, sexy man was making her feel things she had never experienced before.

He used his right hand to caress her face. "Dee-Dee talk to me," he said.

"I've never felt like this before. I've never felt this crazy need to be devoured, to lose control and just give in, and allow whatever to happen between us to just happen." She moved away from him and went through the balcony door so she could get a view of the villa's well manicured lawns.

She stood on the small terrace, taking in the fresh morning air. Shane came up behind her, but didn't touch her. "I make you feel that way?" he asked.

She nodded yes.

He was a little perplexed. "Do you think that's a good or bad thing?" he asked wanting clarification.

"I don't know," she said.

"Are you having second thoughts about us?" he asked. He wanted to be with her but only if she was ready.

"Being with you is all I ever wanted since I met you," she said. Her voice faltered. Her breath caught in her throat.

"Then what is it?" He touched her arms, rubbing them gently.

"You... you make me feel things, wild, crazy things. Like I would do anything for you, anything. It scares me," she replied. "Lissa is carrying your babies. She might not want to deal with you now, but as she comes closer to deliver, she'll need you. Maybe she is with Corporal Stewart but nothing can compare to the bond a mother and father have because of their child."

She turned to look at him. "I don't want to be hurt," she said simply.

He thought about what she said. He leaned on the terrace wall, his hands bracing on it. He looked down at the tiles on the flooring. He was silent for a minute as she waited for him to speak.

He looked up at her. "I won't deny I still care about her. She's carrying my kids. A few weeks ago I would never imagine she and I not being together." Shane got up and went to stand before her. He cupped her face with both hands and searched her eyes. "I care about you deeply. Always have and always will." He kissed her brow. "I would never want to hurt you." He sighed deeply. "I want to be with you," he told her.

He realized they were moving very quickly. It was a few days ago she told him she was attracted to him, just a day ago she told him she loved him. "Sit with me," he said softly. He took her hand and led her to sit on the bed beside him. He got up and closed the balcony door and went to sit beside her.

"I would like to pursue a relationship with you," he said reflectively. He squeezed her hand. "I'm sorry for how I've been rushing things. I think you are afraid of being treated like a rebound." He looked at her. She turned her head to look at the balcony. He sighed and lay back on the bed. He looked at the time. It was 8:45 a.m. "Let's get something to eat and we can talk further," he told her. She nodded her agreement.

They went downstairs to the fancy little dining hall and sat down at a table closest to the view of the pool area. Other couples were already seated.

A young man came to their table, gave them menus and stood ready to take their orders. Dana felt like ackee and saltfish and fried dumplings while Shane ordered a cheesy croissant, freshly baked with scrambled eggs. He also told them that he wanted bacon. For hot beverages, Shane asked for black coffee. Dana wanted peppermint tea. The young man nodded then left them.

They sat in silence while they waited for their food to come. Shane looked at her. She deliberately avoided looking at him. She wore no makeup but her skin still looked flawless. She had on blue jeans shorts and a yellow tube top with thin straps. Her hair was wavey and up in a ponytail.

He wanted ... Yeah, what did he want? What did he really want?! It wouldn't be fair to her to string her along if he didn't really want her.

He looked at the table and thought of all the times he was on patrol with her. He thought of the time they were in a shoot out and her cool head kept everyone in the squad grounded and safe. He admired her. Seeing this softer side of her was the breath of fresh air he needed. But did he need her? He needed to think about it. He would say yes, but maybe he was rushing things.

He cleared his throat and she looked in his direction. "I care about you. Dana, I don't want to hurt you. You are beautiful and sweet, but I know I'm damaged." He cleared his throat again. "I am flattered by your attraction for me. Maybe we shouldn't take this further."

"You said earlier that you want to be with me," she said sadly.

"I did and I meant it, but if you're having second thoughts, I don't want to pressure you. Plus yes, I am hurting from the messed up situation with Lissa. It would be selfish of me to drag you into this," he said.

"Dana, I can't deny, I love your body. You're really sexy. Every fibre of my being is screaming that I should take you upstairs and make love to you," he said with a sigh. "To show you that I can please you and make you feel desired.

"But you have a right to your doubts. I want you, but only if you feel that you can trust me with your heart. And I don't know, maybe I don't deserve such a precious treasure. I want you, but the ball is in your court. I can only reassure you that if you give me a chance I'll do all in my power to be worthy of you."

Dana averted her eyes away from him. She looked at the couple sitting at the nearest table to theirs. They looked happy as they ate and chatted quietly. "I need to think," she answered. Shane nodded. "Take your time," he said.

Their breakfast came and Shane dug in voraciously, but Dana picked at her food. While he ate he watched her. This unsure Dana was not the Dana he knew. There were so many things about her he wanted to know.

He chewed and swallowed a piece of his croissant then said, "We can be friends Dana. It's okay if you don't want to be with me. If you're having second thoughts it's okay. I enjoyed calling you baby. I loved kissing your sweet lips and no doubt I would enjoy kissing other places," his voice dipped, "but if you're not sure, it's okay."

"I-I'm not sure,' she replied.

He smiled at her sadly. "Understood," he said. "Are you okay with staying the rest of the weekend, or ...?"

She nodded. "You've already booked the place. I will try to make the most of it." She tried to smile but it wasn't convincing.

He reached out and grabbed her hand. "I wish you would trust me." He kissed the back of her hand then released her. Just then she remembered a few days ago she told him confidently that she trusted him, but look at her now saying she wasn't sure. Is it that I'm unsure about him or is it that I'm insecure about my own ability to sustain a mature, adult relationship?

She didn't finish her meal. She put down her fork then said she wasn't feeling well. She stood up to leave. He stood up with her and watched as she left the room. He sat down and stared into space for a while. When the waiter came he told him to put everything on his tab and he would pay for everything on the final day of their stay. The young man nodded and left him.

***

Dana was laying down on the bed, holding the pillow to her chest. Did she really mean to push him away? She sighed. She lay on her back, stretching out her legs. She thought about the hurt she saw in his eyes and groaned. She pushed her face in the pillow and groaned louder. This was the man of her dreams --the man she hoped she would marry one day.

Her concerns were valid. Maybe Chelz was right about him. For so long Shane was carrying a flame for Lissa, now they weren't together could he just turn those feelings off so easily? She was doubtful. He said he loved her, that he wanted her. Did he really? Sarge or Shane has never lied to her, never. She turned on her side. "I love him," she said aloud. She couldn't deny how she felt.

She sat up. It didn't matter that he has or had feelings for Lissa, he was showing her so much tenderness and affection. All she needed to do was show him that her love was real. She needed to grow up and take a leap of faith, hoping he would truly love her.

And what if he doesn't? What if you're just a rebound?

She shook the thought out of her head. If he was willing to give this relationship a try, she would try too.

At least she'll have the opportunity to experience what loving him would be like, even if it was brief. She got up and got dressed in a pink sports bra, pink and white boy-shorts and black slippers. Hopefully he'll be at the pool. she told herself. We can talk and I can explain everything to him, and apologize.

***

He went for a swim. He needed to cool off. He was wearing black trunks. He did ten laps of the 40 foot long swimming pool. His muscles were burning but he welcomed it. He slowed down on his returning lap and stopped a few inches away from the steps, when he lifted his head Dana was standing there looking at him. She was wearing a sports bra that held her breasts upright and something like a pair of briefs but sexier.

Mmh, she's sexy. Shane groaned inwardly. His pulse quickened as he looked at her. He didn't want to just be friends.

She smiled at him. "I was just admiring your strokes, you're really good," she said.

He blinked. His eyes burned a little. He rubbed his eyes and carefully climbed out of the pool. "I'll just leave you to it," he said. As he walked passed her she grabbed his wrist. He stopped but continued to face the villa's back entrance. "I'm sorry," she said. "I was scared. I'm still scared," she said. "But I wanna try."

He looked at her. He smiled but shook his head. "You're right to want to reconsider. I've also been thinking. Maybe it's not good to mix business with pleasure, or work colleagues getting romantically involved isn't a good idea."

"But you've resigned," she said in dismay. His eyes looked sadly at her.

"You're not ready Dana, and that's okay. I need someone who is sure they want me and me alone." He looked down at her hand. Seeing his body language she let him go, and he walked away. She felt like she was kicked in the gut. Her legs felt weak. She decided to sit by the pool instead of going in.

***

Shane dialed Lissa's number. No more games, he thought. She answered the phone. "We need to talk," he said plainly. Lissa picked up something different in his voice. "I'm glad you're okay. That fire made me think you, you know," she said.

He sighed. "Yeh, I'm good, but we aren't. We need to talk. I know you don't want to be with me, but I need to know what that means for my kids, our kids," he asserted.

There was a steeliness in Shane's voice she never heard before. It was rather unnerving.

"Okay," she said.

"Lissa, please do not bring Ryan with you. We need to resolve our issues like two rational adults."

"You want to be rational now after everything that's happened?" she retorted.

"Are we going to discus this thing or not?" he asked. Lissa's eyebrows shot up. What has gotten into him?!

"Where are you?" she asked.

"Somewhere in rural St. Andrew at a villa," he told her.

Her eyebrows felt permanently fixed in the surprised position."Okay," she said. "I'm at my friend's house. I can see you in half hour. I'll text you the address."

He hung up. He received the text and replied via messages with, "Okay." He washed himself off considering the chlorine content in the pool, and got dressed in a cool baby blue cotton t-shirt and blue jeans; Timbaland boots on his feet. He walked around to the pool side and saw Dana sitting on a lounge chair brooding. He came and stood beside her.

"I'm going to meet Lissa to discuss the way forward concerning our kids," he said quietly. "I don't know what that means for you and I, if that will be an even greater deterrent, but so you know. I said I agreed with you about us being friends, but I don't want to accept that. I'm going to talk to her. I should be back later around 5 or 6. I have a few errands to run after I speak with her. Nothing will happen between her and I, not only because she may not want it, but also because I don't either.

"When I get back I want a final answer from you. If you want us to be friends, if that is what you really want, I'll take you home, but if you want to take this bold step with me, we can stay here for the rest of the weekend, and I promise you we'll take it slow."

Dana looked into his eyes. She saw a hint of the Sarge she knew and respected. She almost said 'Yes Sarge', but bit her bottom lip instead. "Understood," she answered. He nodded tersely then left her.

She watched him walk away. You're gonna lose him girl is that what you want?! her conscience asked. "No," she answered herself, "that's not what I want."

She lay back on the lounge chair and thought of their time together for the past few days. They had shared memories before but these ones were extra special to her. Now that he was finally showing her the attention she wanted why would she walk away? She was fearful. She didn't want to get hurt.

But is he worth the risk?

She sighed. She thought of their time together thus far. Yes, most definitely.

She got up and walked to the bar and restaurant off to the right of the main building she ordered a glass of orange juice and a tortilla filled with tasty ground beef. She paid for the meal with her debit card. The waiter told her that all expenses incurred by them would go on Shane's tab, but she told him she wanted to pay for this meal. They charged the bill to her card and she smiled politely at him. She was feeling sleepy.

She walked back to her room, feeling better. Opening her room door, she kicked off her slippers, then closed it behind her. She yawned loudly then threw herself on the bed. She was tired. She smiled ruefully thinking of how making decisions sometimes made her feel tired afterwards. She climbed further up the bed and closed her eyes. She fell asleep quickly.

***

Shane was at Prudence's house by 11 a.m. Prudence had gone to work, but before she left, Lissa made sure to tell her that Shane was stopping by to resolve issues. Prudence said she understood, gave her a hug and left for work.

After receiving a text message from Shane saying he was at the gate, Lissa came to the door and opened it. She stood watching while he exited it the new SUV. She was surprised, but waited until he entered the house to say anything.

"I like your new whip," she complimented.

He gave a brief smile. "Thank you," he replied politely.

She gestured for him to sit on the couch. He followed her lead and sat down. She removed a photo from her pocket and showed it to him. "Ultrasound of your babies," she said smiling. Shane took the snapshot and gazed at it. His eyes softened. "Can I keep this?" he asked. She nodded. "Yes, you may. I already made a copy," she told him. He nodded and smiled with her.

"How are you really?" he asked. His eyes watching her.

She smiled sadly. "I've had better days, but I'm okay," she answered.

He cleared his throat. "I just want you to know that I'm sorry about everything. I must have scared you, the house ..."

"Yeah, I know what you mean," she responded. He nodded.

"Why did you react that way?" she asked.

"I thought you had cheated on me with Ryan," he said chuckling softly. "Remember, I told you once I would go crazy if something were to happen ..." His voice trailed off. She looked at him. He looked really handsome with the new beard. He wasn't as heavy but he was still quite muscular.

She cleared her throat. "Since we are to share parenting of the kids, you should know something," she said looking at the floor.

Shane leaned back and prepared his heart to hear what he already knew.

"Ryan and I are seeing each other. We weren't seeing each other the time you accused us, but since then we've been spending more time together, and, well we've decided to date," she said.

He nodded. "And?" he asked.

She looked up, saw his steely gaze and closed her eyes. "Yeah, we slept together," she said looking up at him with guarded eyes.

He took a deep breath. He knew he was right! He felt vindicated though sad about the confession. It hurt like hell before, but not so much now. He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm disappointed, but you're a grown woman. You can do what you want," he told her. His chest felt numb. He willed himself to breathe in slowly. "So ... that means you do not wish to have a relationship with me?" he asked.

She shook her head. "No, I don't. I think co-parenting is best," she said.

Shane nodded. So it's over then. He smiled sadly at her. "Okay," he said. "When is your next doctor's appointment. By the way, I'm sorry for not being at the previous ones."

She nodded then sighed. "I was mad, but I ain't mad anymore. It is what it is. You wanna come to the next one?" she asked.

"Yes," he said.

Lissa looked at him. There was something different about him. "There's something different about you, a kind of take charge, cold attitude," she said.

"I'm just fed up with the bullshit now I guess. I've lost a great love, but I'm not gonna let this situation stifle my chance at being content with my life. Not anymore. I'm done running."

"This great love, you referring to me?" she asked

He nodded. He smiled at her. He saw her guilty look. "No need to feel bad about it Lissa. You've made your choice. I wasn't there for you when you needed me. That's on me. But I won't run from my responsibility of being a father," he told her.

She nodded. "The next appointment is two weeks from now. It was supposed to be next week but I had to reschedule," she said. "I will text you if all goes well and everything is confirmed. I will not stand in your way of being there for your kids. The thing is, Ryan also wants to be there for them."

"Is that so?" he asked sarcastically. Lissa nodded feeling uncomfortable. He laughed softly.

"As long as he understands they're not his kids, I can live with that," he said his voice a little sharp. Lissa sighed. "Of course." she said.

Shane nodded.  "Of course," he replied.

"So you're really leaving the Force," she asked still in disbelief.

"Yup. I may do something involving keeping people safe, maybe private security if I get the opportunity, but that's it.

"You know, you burning your house down, that was a cry for help," she said.

He chuckled. "Don't psycho analyse me. I burned that house down because I realized all that I hoped for was going up in smoke. I was losing you. I lost my head. I did the unthinkable, but that won't happen again," he answered

"I hope you will be happy and pray you will find someone to love you," she told him. He nodded, smiling at her. His smile still did things to her. She blushed a little, sleeking back a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Shane noticed what she did and laughed softly.

He realized that he could still have her, but he wouldn't push it. Matter-of-fact, he still cared for her, but if she could give up on their relationship so easily it would be better he let her go. Plus, he didn't hate Ryan, he was a cool guy. It wouldn't be fair to him either. He smiled charmingly at her. Lissa wondered why he was laughing, but did not bother to ask.

"I hope I will find someone to love me too," he said calmly. He thought of Dana and hoped it would be her. He would change everything for her.

***

On his way back to the villa he bought a red rose for Dana. He also had a speech prepared to convince her to give him a chance. He also had her gift in a small white box in his glove compartment. He had called ahead to the villa manager to ask for a favor. He would pay whatever expense. Her birthday was coming up next month, he needed to plan something nice for her. He smiled as he thought of her. He wasn't going to let her slip away from him, no matter what she said tonight.

As he drove up to the gate he dialed the number he was given to call for entry into the property. A man answered the phone. Shane identified himself and the man came and let him in. Shane hung up and drove around to the side of the house as before and parked his vehicle.

He dialed Dana's cellphone. The phone ran then went straight to voicemail. He called again but she did not answer. His heart was pounding he wondered if she had rented an Uber or a taxi to leave. He ended the call and exited the car, arming it.

In his right hand was a long, thin box that protected the rose he bought from damage. He walked slowly towards the villa, fearing the worst. As he approached the room that was assigned to her, his phone began to ring and vibrate. He lifted the phone face up. She was calling him back. He answered.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I was sleeping," she answered. She yawned quietly.

Shane was relieved she was still on the property. He was a little worried. "Hey beautiful," he responded. "I missed you."

She chuckled softly. "Did you really?" she asked teasing him. He was pleasantly surprised considering their conversation earlier that day.

"Mhm," he answered but he felt perplexed. Why the change in attitude towards me? He was intrigued.

"I really missed you. I need to talk to you," she said.

"Yes, we do," he replied. "Can you get ready by ..." Shane looked at his new watch. He loved this watch. It was 6:00 p.m. "Can you get ready by 7:30? Formal chic wear?" he queried.

Dana sighed happily. "Sure, I can," she answered.

"Don't come down stairs I'll come for you, okay?"

Dana smiled. "Okay," she confirmed. She observed that the tone of his voice had softened while they were speaking. Yeah, I want to be with him, she thought.

He ended the call. He opened his room door and closed it behind him. He pulled off his clothes, folded them and placed them in a plastic bag with the other sweaty clothes. Tomorrow he would ask for his laundry to be done. He walked to the bathroom to take a shower. He felt hot and sticky, he wanted to smell good for her.

***

At 7:25 Dana heard a knock on her room door. She was already ready. She was glad she packed a red dress and a cute black and white button up blouse and black slacks. She decided to wear the blouse and pants suit, and two inch black pumps with stiletto heels. She would wow him with the red dress on Sunday night.

She opened the top button of the blouse. She wanted to show him she was his completely. Shane could see a gold chain necklace peaking through as a tempting contrast to her soft, dark skin. He wished he could bury his head inside her blouse and discover the wonders she was hiding. He cleared his throat and looked up at her face. There was a mocking smile on her lips. He chuckled. "I'm sorry," he said. "I can't help it. You're probably gonna get tired of hearing me say this, but you are very beautiful."

Dana feasted her eyes on him. He was wearing a dark grey jacket and trousers but his shirt was a wine red color. He was wearing black dress shoes on his feet.

She came forward and hugged him. He circled his arms around her and squeezed. When he released her he gazed into her eyes. He saw a burning desire in her stare and something else. He would find out what she was feeling; what she wanted, during the evening.

He took her hand and led her down stairs to a closed off garden area of the villa. The lights installed on the villa wall were on, illuminating their path to the area and making it easier for them to enjoy the beauty on display.

There were also tiny lights set up over wooden frames that were in the shape of arches. The frames were also wrapped with flowers: white, yellow and pink; lush green vines and white lacy fabric. A soft white fabric was fastened over the top of both arches to make a cute makeshift tent.

Dana was in awe. The ambiance of the garden provided the perfect backdrop. Dana could smell the interesting flowery scents of the garden and felt like shedding a few tears. No one had ever done this for her. She tried to dismiss the feeling.

Underneath the 'tent' was a table covered with blue and white satin fabric. Wooden chairs wrapped around with blue and white lace made her feel whimsical. Their dining places were set with beautiful blue and white porcelain dinner plates and beautifully designed wine glasses. She noted the fancy, silver cutlery and smiled. She looked at him. He was watching her reaction closely.

"Thank you," she said. Her voice was a little trembly. She turned to him and he pulled her into him, squeezing her close. She smelt his cologne and almost groaned his name with longing. She decided that if he wanted them to make love she would willingly give herself to him.

He rubbed his hands up and down her back. He wished he could be with her tonight, to explore every sweet, delectable inch of her, but she needed to be reassured of his affections for her. He would show her he wanted to wait for her. Tonight, he would be a gentleman.

The waiter for the evening approached them, made sure they were comfortably seated, and took their orders. While they waited for their food, Shane opened the box he had in his hand and handed the rose to her. She was stunned as she looked at it. She did wonder what the box in his hand was for, but never expected this. She took it from him and smelt the petals. She touched them. It was real!

"Soft and delicate, but resilient and thorny, or in your case feisty like you," he said admiring her. "This rose reminds me of you. Sweet and beautiful, but dangerous enough to steal my heart. Dana, you're the only woman I want to be with. Lissa was an infatuation, maybe even just lust, but with you, you've always been there, steady and sure, confident and strong. Now that I've gotten to know your softer side I want to know more about you. I want to discover all of you. And I am more than willing to wait for you."

She looked at him. She couldn't hold back anymore, her eyes began to water and she allowed the tears to flow. Shane seeing this, brought his chair closer to hers and clasped her left hand in his. "Dana, please tell me what's wrong," he said.

He felt the coldness in his heart melt away. "Sweet baby, I know I'm not perfect, but I promise to commit myself to loving you with all of me. Talk to me." His heart couldn't bear seeing her cry. He touched her face.

"Thank you for tonight. No one has ever done this for me. I guess I feel stupid for doubting you," she said.

He leaned forward and kissed her brow. "You don't need to be. You have every right to question where my heart is. But hear me, it's with you. I want you. I wanna be with you and only you," he said.

He leaned forward and gently kissed her lips. She opened her mouth willingly to him, kissing him with a fervency that took his breath away. He groaned as she leaned forward and gave him the best of herself. While still holding her left hand with his left, he moved his right hand down to caress her thighs. The pants she was wearing weren't close fitting but it looked good on her. He rubbed her thighs wanting to see the bare flesh and caress them.

He was getting very hot, he slowed down the pace of their kiss a little and planted soft pecks on her lips. He nibbled on them gently and heard her moan. Moving his torso back, he stared at her. "Sweet baby, I need you tonight," he told her. "If we continue like this I'm gonna make love to you. If you want us to wait we have to cool this down." He moved his right hand up to touch her face. His lips were slightly parted as he tried to catch his breath. Dana leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I want to wait, but I want you inside me so bad," she confessed.

He released her left hand and gently brushed his fingers through her hair. It was loose about her shoulders, resting on her back, black and shiny. In the lights behind them it looked like a beautiful halo. As he looked at her, he remembered the promise he made to himself. Tonight he was going to be a gentleman. He chuckled softly. "Believe me I want nothing more right now. I want you more than the food we'll eat in the next few minutes. But we need to wait, take it slow. I don't want you to have any doubts about me."

He cupped her face with both hands. "It's all about you baby, and only you." He stared pointedly into her eyes to reassure her. Her lips curved into a soft smile. "Thank you," she said.

"You're welcome baby," he answered.

Ten minutes later the food came. They ate it quietly. Shane watched her eating, devouring her with his eyes. Dana saw his lustful looks and blushed. She felt her heart flutter in her chest. No man had ever looked at her like that. He made her feel beautiful.

When the meal was over. He told her to close her eyes and stretch out her left hand to him. She did so, a smile on her lips. He quietly took out the jewelry box with a custom designed bracelet inside. He took out the bracelet and fastened it on her wrist. As he put it on, he saw her facial expression change to one of curiosity.

"Open your eyes sweet baby," he said.

When Dana opened her eyes and saw the bracelet she let out a little shriek. It was a gold bracelet with two tiny heart shaped pendants hanging off the chain. She looked at them closely and realized that her first name was engraved in the centre of one of the hearts. She looked at the other heart and saw his name on it.

She was overwhelmed with happiness. She got up from the table and came around to him. She looked down at him sitting in the chair and wished they were already married.

"I wish you were already mine --that we were already married--I would show you what this weekend means to me," she told him. She moved to sit on his lap. He opened his legs so she could sit comfortably sideways on him. Dana leaned forward and rested her brow on his. "Thank you," she said. She circled her arms around his neck.

"You're welcome," he said. He closed his eyes as they both basked in the intimate moment between them.

He gently caressed her back then said, "Earlier it seemed as though you no longer wanted to be with me, what changed?"

She sighed. "When I went to freshen up this morning I received a phone call from my best friend. I've known her since high school. She knows I've always liked you, and I mentioned I would be spending time with you in a romantic, secluded villa." She saw his concerned look. "I texted her after you left my room last night, before I came to your room." He nodded and continued to stroke her back.

She took a deep breath and released it. "So this morning she called wanting to hear the juicy details of the night before." She chuckled. "Suffice it to say she was disappointed that we didn't do anything. I may have mentioned that you are Christian and wanted to wait too, plus you had just broken up with your woman a few days ago ... and she's pregnant for you." She saw Shane's reaction. She touched his face. "Honey, I'm sorry. She's been my best friend for so long I trust her."

She kissed his brow then gently kissed his lips. As she reached up to kiss his eyelids he closed them for her. She kissed them and lovingly caressed his beard. "She kind of made me think of the situation, the fact that the break up is fresh, and you may still be pining for Lissa."

He touched her face. "I don't mind you talking to your friend about us once you don't share the freaky details," he said amused.

"Will there be freaky details?" she asked cheekily.  She looked into his eyes and blushed. "Forget I asked," she said giggling.

"As for what she said about me and my feelings for Lissa, yes, I care for her. She's the mother of my only kids for now," he said blowing Dana a kiss. "I want to make babies with you." He brushed his fingers gently across her cheek. "As many babies as you can manage I want to have them with you." Dana leaned forward and rested her head on his shoulder. "I want three," she said.

"Three babies?" he asked surprised.

She nodded. He moved his hands down to circle her waist. He was happy. "Then trust me. Baby, I want this to work. I'll do anything to show you that it's all about you, just trust me. Your friend means well, but you know me, she doesn't. That's why I said the other day that I want you to see me as your man and trust me as your man, not as Sarge. Understand."

Dana nodded. She loved this man.

"So how come you treated me differently when I came back this evening? This morning you were sulky and said you didn't want a relationship --you're saying your friend influenced that?" He turned his head so he could see her face. Her eyes were closed. She was biting her bottom lip. She looked very tempting. He closed his eyes and sighed. Lord help me to hold it in tonight, he prayed.

"Yeah, after I talked to her I got to thinking all sorts of things. I was scared. You make me feel like I would go through fire for you."

"You wanna know a secret?" he asked.

She opened her eyes and looked at him. He smiled at her. "That's how you make me feel. Long before these feelings between us. You've been a very good friend and colleague. Remember that incident we faced in that innercity community last year?"

She nodded and said, "Mhm."

"After how you handled yourself I said to Sarge Reynolds that besides him, there's no one else I would rather go into a gun battle with as my back-up. I know you will keep a cool head and you will be very capable of tactical support. My little sharp shooter." He bent forward and placed a soft peck on her lips. Dana closed her eyes. She was feeling weak for his touch.

She smiled. "Sarge Reynolds told me yesterday that you told him that," she revealed. He chuckled softly. "Yeah, I meant every word sweet baby," he said. He used his arms to pull her upright on his lap. "I wanna know more about you, much more and I want you to know me, every part of me." He took her left hand, opened his legs wider and placed her hand on his crotch. Dana closed her eyes and moaned softly. She bit her lower lip. He felt so big and hard. She wanted him.

"You feel that?" he asked his voice slightly husky. She nodded. "That's for you," he whispered seductively. "That's how you make me feel, but it's not just because your sexy. I'm attracted to you, the whole person. You don't need to doubt."

She nodded and opened her eyes. "I will never doubt you again," she told him.

"Why did you change your mind about a relationship with me?" he asked. Her hair looked like a beautiful halo around her face.

"After we spoke I went back to my room and thought about it. I love you and I've always wanted to be with you, that's what I came to the pool to tell you, that I changed my mind, but you didn't believe me."

He touched her face. "I was angry, forgive me. My ego got the better of me. Plus I didn't want you to make a rash decision if you weren't ready. I wanted you to be sure, which is why I said we could talk this evening so you can have enough time to think about what you want."

Dana wanted to straddle him but restrained herself. She hadn't noticed before but his eyes were really sexy. She found herself staring at them. Brushing his hand through her hair while he looked at her, there was a certain glint in them that fascinated her.

She cleared her throat then said, "When you left to see Lissa, I thought about the past few days --how you've been with me. I decided that I would take the risk to love you because that's all I've ever wanted to do. I didn't want to throw away the opportunity to have you in my life, even if we end up breaking up. I decided I would love you in spite of everything. I don't want to be without you." She kissed his lips.

He gently pulled on her lips then moved his head back slightly. "I don't want us to break up," he asserted. "One thing I've learned from my mistake with Lissa is that I need to make sure I reassure the woman in my life that I'm here for her. As I said a few days ago, I will make sure you know where I am at all times when I'm not by your side. I don't want to lose you."

"You won't," she promised. "Only death will separate me from you, and I don't plan on dying anytime soon," she declared. She smiled at him, touching his lips with her thumb. She wanted to kiss him so bad.

Shane pulled her forward and kissed her passionately. Tonight would be a test of his self control but he didn't mind. This sweet torture meant he had something special to look forward to.

***

Near the end of the evening, the waiter came to Shane and whispered something to him. He nodded and smiled at the young man and told him, "Thank you." As the young man walked away, Shane reached out his hand and Dana took it. "Stand up a little bit," he told her and she complied.

He guided her to the low grassy lawn at the back of the property. He pulled her close in his arms, placed his right hand on her waist and his left hand circled her left shoulder. While her arms managed to reach around his broad back half way, there was a brief crackling sound, then they heard music playing. It was a very slow ballad from a popular American female singer. He swayed with her slowly to the tune of the song.

Dana looked into his eyes, and all her fears and doubts melted away. He bent forward and kissed her lips tenderly. Dana closed her eyes as she kissed him back. He embraced her closer to his chest so she could feel his pelvis moving against hers. She felt intoxicated by his closeness. She rested her head on his neck. Shane sighed happily and circled both arms around her waist as he slowly danced with her. His feet took small steps across the lawn and she followed his lead.

"I love you," he told her. His voice was deep with emotion.

"I love you," she said with a sigh. She wanted to be with him so badly. She lifted her head, opened her eyes and looked up at him. He looked at her. "If-If you want to ... if you want to make love I want to," she said shyly.

His right hand moved up to cup her face. "Do you want to?" he asked.

She nodded as she looked at him.

He bent his head down to her neck and kissed it gently. Dana closed her eyes. He lifted his head and looked at her face. "I want to, but I made a promise to myself that I would wait, at least until I can't wait any longer," he answered.

"What if I can't wait?" she asked.

"Then I will please you as much as I can without going all the way," he replied. "But you can wait a little bit longer." He lovingly stroked her face. "Can't you?" he asked teasing her. His lips curved into a sexy smile.

Dana sighed and closed her eyes. She nodded. "Yes, I've waited this long I can wait a little longer, but not forever," she told him. "You make me feel things I've never felt before. I want more."

His face sobered a little as he looked at her. "I promise you, I won't take long. I promise."

"The arson charges?" she asked, worried. He stopped their movement. He cupped her face with both hands and gazed into her eyes. "Trust me baby. It will be okay. You'll see."

She nodded and closed her eyes. He slowly moved with her across the lawn, feeling her body sway in time with his. He closed his eyes. He didn't want the night to end.

Dana reveled in the feel of his strong but gentle arms holding her close. She wanted to moan his name, to lay on her back soaking up all he wanted to give her. She bit her lip and sighed. She hoped God would help her to resist the urge because she wanted to have him tonight.

***

He walked her to her door and kissed her lips slowly, tenderly teasing her. He pushed the door open for her and gave her the door card. She held on to him, squeezing him to her body. Dana lifted herself on tiptoes and began sucking on his neck. She felt almost feverish with desire.

He lifted her in his arms, kicking the door behind him shut, and brought her to the bed and laid her down. He took off his jacket then his shirt but left his pants on. He kissed her passionately as she whimpered and called his name breathlessly.

"Please, Shane, please, I need you," she begged him.

He touched her face. "We can't go all the way," he told her.

She nodded. She reached for his pants buckle. He stopped her. "I can't," he said.

She looked into his eyes. "Baby, I don't want to deprive you from enjoying me. In whatever way I can, I want you to feel good," she told him.

"What will you do?" he asked. He touched her face, mesmerized by the twinkle in her eyes. She grabbed his forearm and pulled him down on the bed beside her. She climbed on top of him and began kissing him seductively. He had on a marina. She tugged at it. He sat up and pulled it off him and threw it on the floor.

He lifted her in his arms and made her sit on him with her legs wrapped around his waist. He tucked his feet up and began pulling the lace on his shoes. She giggled as he struggled to kick the shoes off his feet. When he managed to get rid of his shoes, he laughed and she pushed him on the bed, laughing herself.

She rubbed her hands on his chest, while she groaned softly. "Baby, I've wanted to touch you like this for so long," she told him. "You're sexy. Tonight I want to show you just a little of what I have been saving for you," she said.

He chuckled. "Really?" he asked.

She nodded with a cheeky smile on her face. "Mhm," she replied. She lowered her body on top of him and kissed his lips, then she trailed soft, dewy kisses from his lips down to his neck, to his chest.

Shane swallowed as he felt her tenderness overwhelm him. He wrapped his arms around her. When she reached to his nipples she flicked them with her tongue. He moaned and called her name. He squeezed her body. Gently, she suckled him. His body jerked under her. She was lighting his fire into a raging inferno.

As she teased him she groaned and told him she loved him. She moved her body down and sat on his legs. She looked into his eyes as her hands reached for the buckle of his belt and pulled it open. She eased her weight off him to pull his pants down. Shane unbuttoned his trousers and she helped him pull it passed his hips.

She touched him through the boxer briefs. She was groaning softly. "Shane, baby, you feel so good." She put her hands in the underpants and felt him. Dana's loins clenched as she felt his girth. She drew his underpants down so she could see his member. Her eyes widened as she saw him. "You're beautiful," she breathed.

Shane was overcome with emotion. He was vulnerable before her, but she made him feel safe and loved. He closed his eyes concentrating on her touch. Slowly, she began stroking him. "I love you!" she moaned. She bowed down and covered him with her mouth. Shane gasped and called her name, "Mmh, Dana!" Slowly, she moved her mouth up and down on his shaft, groaning softly.

When she lifted her head she watched him, "You don't have to do this back to me," she said. "Doing this to you has always been a fantasy of mine," she said as her hand massaged him a little faster. She licked her lips, lowered her head again and moved on him more fervently. Suckling him and moaning, she felt herself getting really wet. She loved his scent and taste.

He caressed her hair as she went down on him. "I want to satisfy you," he said his breath ragged. She quickened her pace on him and he began grinding his hips and breathing more shallow.

"Ohh! Sweet baby, mmh! You're so good! You're so good!" he groaned. She lifted her head and looked at him. He saw how she was looking at him and blew her a kiss. She giggled. She stroked him, gripping him more firmly. "I never thought this day would come. I love you. You taste really good," she told him.

He licked his lips. "I can't wait to taste you." he said.

She covered him with her mouth and moved faster on him. As he began thrusting in her mouth she closed her eyes, getting caught up in the emotions that were building inside her.

She groaned, feeling her body responding to him. As he reached his climax, he gripped her shoulders and called her name. She closed her eyes and groaned deeply when she felt his body jerk and tremble. She never felt like this before but she loved it!

***

He laid her down and kissed her lips. "Thank you for what you did, I haven't had that release in a while," he said kissing your neck. "It's your turn."

She giggled softly then said, "You're welcome. I love your taste." She licked her lips. He grinned at her and blew her a sloppy kiss. Kissing her forehead, he inhaled the scent of her skin. His face hovered over hers as he looked into her eyes.

The intensity of his gaze was too much for her, she shivered and closed her eyes. Reaching his hands down, he unbuttoned her blouse slowly as she lay silently before him. She was trembling slightly. He felt her body shaking under him. "We won't go all the way I promise you. Do you trust me?"

She opened her eyes and looked at him. She knew he was telling her the truth. "Yes," she replied nodding, "I trust you."

He removed her blouse and looked hungrily at her beautiful, dark skin. "Let me pleasure you all over. I'll be gentle," he told her. She nodded, her heart rate rising. He snaked his arms around her back as she lay down and unhooked her bra. She eased up slightly and he took the bra off her shoulders and laid it at the edge of the bed.

He lifted the gold necklace with the cross pendant that was around her neck, and kissed it. He looked into her eyes. "We'll keep that promise as much as we can tonight," he said.

Dana nodded. She trusted him.

He looked at her silky, smooth, chocolate-brown skin and bit his bottom lip. Her breasts were so tempting. So beautiful. He placed his hands on them and massaged them slowly. He watched as her body arched up to him.

He bent his head and suckled on her soft, voluptuous breasts. She moaned and wrapped her arms around his shoulders as he pleasured her. Her fragrant, soft skin was such a treat for him. He lifted his head and looked at her.

"I love your soft skin, sweet baby," he groaned. "Smell so good, tastes good. Reminds me of chocolate." He buried his head between your breasts again, groaning deeply. He cupped them tenderly while he pulled and suckled her nipples.

"Sweet baby, is this all mine? Is all of this beauty mine to have?" he asked as if he was in awe. Beautiful, dark, perky flesh teased him. He bent his head and gently kissed each twin peak, lightly brushing his lips on them.

Dana whimpered, calling his name. "Ohh Shane! Yes, all of me is yours. All of me," she said. Her voice was soft and breathy. He cupped her breasts more possessively, but still in a gentle way, and watched as her eyes closed and her body arched up to him. "Mmh, you're so sweet. So sweet. I'm gonna have to take my time with you," he said.

He reached his hands down and opened the buttons of her pants then pulled it down slowly passed her hips off her legs. She was wearing black, lacy panties. He grunted. "You're beautiful," he said. He lovingly caressed her wide, round hips. He looked up at her face. "I'm gonna take my time with you."

He got up from the bed, went to turn off the ceiling light, then turned on the lamp on the night stand. He took off his trousers but kept on his underpants. He saw something flicker in her eyes as she saw that he was hard for her again. He blew her a sloppy kiss.

"All for you when the time is right," he told her.

With trembling hands Shane eagerly pulled down her panties. He looked at her. "Don't be shy baby, open wide for me," he encouraged her. Biting her bottom lip, Dana closed her eyes and bent her knees, spreading her legs apart for him. She heard him make a soft guttural sound and opened her eyes. He had a look of longing on his face.

Tentatively, he reached out and brushed his hand on her pubic hair. She trimmed herself a little, wanting to be prepared, just in case. She was glad she did it. Dana shivered. "Baby, you're so beautiful." He cupped her gently and squeezed. "Mhh," she groaned.

She stretched out her hands to him. He came forward and lay on top of her, kissing her fervently. He kissed her lips then trailed a soft line of adorable kisses down her cheek to her neck. He paused at her breasts, loving on them, while she whimpered and moaned for him.

He pressed his lips on her delicate skin. "Mmhh, you smell so good!" he groaned. He began to gently nip and nibble on the soft curve of her round, perky breasts, then moved his lips past her bosom to her ribcage, down to her tummy. With each bite he lovingly used his tongue to lick the spot to cool down the sensations, then adored her with his lips. He spoke to her in a soft tone: telling her that she was beautiful, that he loved her and he couldn't get enough.

Dana arched up to him, moaning his name. She reached down and rubbed the palm of her hands on his hard, muscular shoulders, and head. As he slipped between her thighs he chuckled softly. She looked at his bent head and smiled. "What's so funny?" she asked amused.

He looked up at her face and winked. She giggled and rubbed his head. He turned his face to the right and kissed her inner thigh. "It's surreal, this moment between us. I've always said that one day someone worthy of you would come along and cherish you the right way. I never thought it would be me," he told her. She rubbed his head, her hands moved down to caress his beard.

"You are worthy," she reassured him. "All I want is you."

Shane closed his eyes and allowed her words to soak deep inside his heart. He took a deep breath and sighed. "I love you," he whispered. When he opened his eyes she saw the sincerity in his gaze.

She smiled at him. She felt like her eyes would water. She brushed a lone tear away. Shane came up between her legs to kiss her forehead, her cheeks, her eyelids then finally her parted lips. "I want to make love to you so bad," he told her breathlessly. "God knows I really wanna feel you."

She reached up and touched his face. "Whatever you want to do, I'm all yours," she answered. He looked into her eyes. She was beautiful, delicate, sweet but more importantly pure. There was an undiluted love and innocence about her that pulled him in.

His kissed her lips slowly, savoring her taste. Kissing her passionately, he moved down so his shoulders were between her thighs. He lifted her legs and placed them on his shoulders. He pulled her to the end of the bed and crouched down on his knees on the carpeted floor.

He looked up at her eyes and saw her longing. He gently kissed her folds. Her lips formed a silent 'oh' as her body arched up. She released a rushed breath. Tenderly, he kissed her repeatedly and heard her whimper and call his name.

Using his tongue he teased her until her nub was swollen and prominent before him. He looked at it. He had never seen one like this but it was still cute and beautiful. He suckled it gently, closing his eyes, as he enjoyed the taste and feel of her in his mouth. He felt her getting wet and groaned. He licked her gently, heard her moan and saw her grinding her hips for him.

"You taste so good," he growled. He penetrated her with his tongue. Her taste wasn't like anything else he experienced. She was sweet with a hint of something else he couldn't describe. She was really tight and slippery wet. He wished he could penetrate her with his hard member, but he was determined to not go all the way tonight.

Easing back a little he inserted his finger instead and watched her undulate her hips and moan louder. She was biting her bottom lip. "Sweet Dana, you're so beautiful. So sweet. I love how you feel in my mouth. You taste sweet like honey and chocolate at the same time."

Dana whimpered. "Ohh, Shane ... ahh I love you! I love you!" she moaned.

"I love you too sweet baby." He took out his finger out and slowly inserted two. She reared up and moaned, grinding her hips faster. Observing her reaction, he moved faster, and as deep as he could with his fingers. Shane bit his bottom lip as he watched her. She's so beautiful. He removed his fingers. That wasn't enough for him.

Leaning forward, he gripped her hard and lifted her slightly off the edge of the bed, wrapping his arms around her. Gently, he licked and suckled her, closing his eyes so he could concentrate on her taste.

He was still on his knees before her. He almost felt like he was her servant and she was his queen. He wanted to please her. As she moved on him, he groaned, realizing for the first time that he gained more pleasure from giving than receiving. He felt like he would lose control. He didn't know how to describe how he was feeling, but he desperately wanted to see her cum. As he continued to pleasure her, he had one goal on his mind--to see her explode in ecstasy.

He heard her moan loudly and her body began to shake. He grunted and groaned as he felt her tremble under him. He felt a light gush of wetness on his chin but continued to lick her until she lay still. Savoring her sweet taste, he licked his lips before her and said,  "Sweetest chocolate I've ever tasted." He saw her moan, biting her lips. She closed her eyes.

He knew she was satiated. Her soft moans and the way she shivered and cried his name was something he would never forget. What happened at the end was quite an eye opener. She was that type of girl. He felt his member throbbing even harder for her. He needed to hold tonight in memory because he wanted it to be the last time for now that he pleasured her. He thought of how beautiful she was and how she was now his love.

"So you're that type of girl?" he asked his voice deep and gruff with desire.

"What type of girl?" she asked puzzled

He pointed to his moist beard. Dana blushed. "I'm sorry. I didn't know I could do that." she said sheepishly.

He was surprised. "You've never ...? You've never climaxed before?" he asked. He came up on the bed and sat beside her, looking down at her face. She turned her head away, showing him her back. Shane wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her up to the top of the bed.

He lay beside her and tenderly stroked her hair. She still would not look at him. "Dana," he said, "you have nothing to be sorry about. I enjoyed you, every sweet part of you. You being able to do that is an added bonus. It turns me on that I could make you squirt." He covered her with his right arm and turned her around to him.

Leaning forward he kissed her brow and then kissed her soft lips. "I love you," he told her. His eyebrows raised he said, "And now that I know what you're working with, you won't get rid of me that easily," he teased. He blew her multiple kisses and she giggled. She moved towards him and he circled his arms around her. "Hmm, my sweet baby. That's my girl."

Afterwards, when they both showered, he grabbed her waist, lifted her and tossed her carefully on the bed. Dana laughed and giggled as he lay beside her, tickling her. When they quieted down, he tenderly kissed her brow and she closed her eyes. He cradled her in his arms, wrapping his legs around her. He stayed awake comforting her, until he felt her body relax in sleep.

He kissed her head and sighed happily. He was happy. "Forgive me Lord, but thank you," he prayed quietly. "Thank you for her. I promise to love her for the rest of my life. Help me to wait from now on." He closed his eyes and drifted into sleep, thinking of what he was planning to do for her birthday.
